I've talked with a few friends about possibly rewriting certain games, shows, movies, and books to flow better narratively speaking and it's partially inspired by Celtic Phoenix's Fixing RWBY series. The basic gist of what I'm thinking of doing isn't to make new stories, but rather give the core ideas needed touch ups to make them stand out. For example, there's a few levels of inconsistencies in Final Fantasy X that could be ironed out and help the story flow better. All of the events that transpire in the established media will be a thing, but there may be minor tweaks here and there to make things a bit more interesting beyond just rehashing what we already know.

Nuclear Weapons in Solar Strife

In the timeline of my Solar Strife setting the first usage of atomic weaponry doesn't take place until 1983 surprisingly enough. In our timeline nukes were used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to force Japan into surrendering rather then having to carry out a costly ground invasion of the islands that would have cost the lives of up to a million Allied soldiers at the lowest estimate and potentially up to ten million Japanese soldiers and civilians. For better or for worse the worlds only usage of nuclear weaponry in our world saved a lot of lives even with the occasional debate on the morality of the action cropping up. In the fictional alternate history timeline of Solar Strife however this never happens and Operation Downfall takes place in late 1945 and last through to early 1947 with horrendous cost in human life and an incredibly harsh occupation of Japan lasting into the 1960's which actually does abolish the Imperial Family and many other aspects of Japanese culture and tradition

In those days, while the grasslands and valleys belonged to the Dragons, Orcs, Dwarves (and if legends are to be believed, Smallfolk), the races of Elves and Men shared the forests under the guidance of the spirits of rock and stream. When did this change? Long ago in days before counting. Why did it change? None

Alt-History propaganda ideas.

Well found some interesting WW2 paintings while browsing Bing images and I'm thinking they'd make for some great alternate history propaganda posters. Wonder if I can use MS Paint or Photoshop on my phone (my laptop doesn't work.)

Valerian review

So I watched Valerian the other day and I have to say it's now at least one of my top five favorite Sci-fi movies. The plot was great, the scenery and atmosphere was breathtaking, the character interaction was both realistic and enjoyable. Definitely a must watch for any sci-fi fans out their. Score 9.5/10
